Are You Alice? VS Kiri : Kin no Kanaria, Gin no Alice–Track 4 Story

After recovered from the shock of listening to Alice’s horrible song, it’s time to move to the second game: Popular Guys’ Battle. The rule is simple, the one who is most popular is the winner.

In Kanaria’s team, Rockwell grumbling that he should do this game instead of karaoke. His remark was countered by Kanaria, who said that what Rockwell has is pride only and not ability.This irritated Rockwell and the two started quarreling. Rain and Balfour however think that if they use Kanaria’s power then this game is a piece of cake, because Kanaria can infected the opponents and make them fall with him. Kanaria told Balfour that his idea is foolish. Can he imagine what will happen if Kanaria go to a poplular guys battle? At the end, Balfour decided that it’d be either he or Rain who’ll participate……

At the same time in Alice team, he once again volunteered but ignored by Hatter who told Chesire Cat to do the game. Alice of course disappointed.

Hatter: “Alice, listen to me”
Alice:”W-what? Suddenly you talk seriously….”
Hatter: “You know, actually……. you are not popular”
Alice: “Wha-?!”
White Rabbit: “I agree”
Alice: “Wha-?!”
Hatter: “And your song also worst”

The shocked Alice denied that his song is awful, moreover song is irrelevant with popularity, but his team’s members already decided wholeheartedly to not let Alice to do this game.

At the end it’s decided that Chesire Cat and Balfour will participate. Balfour, however, is grumbling because he has to participate after lost in rock-paper-scissor.

Rockwell: “Well, compared with Rain-man you are a bit more popular, though it’s gross that you only interested in young girls”
Balfour: “Don’t do strange follow up!”
Kanaria: “Since he is liked by the world, he could be considered popular, as Kounotori”
Meanwhile, Chesire Cat is wondering what popularity criteria is needed to win this game. Alice also curious, asking the Gardener whether the winner is judged by his popularity amongst men?
Gardener: “Of course not.”
Alice: “Ahaha, that’s obvious isn’t it? They have to test their popularity amongst girls-“
Gardener: “No, ostrich”
Alice: “What?!"

So, the Gardener said that he will release 50 ostriches on the stage, and the one who get flocked by most ostrich is the winner.

Balfour: “I have a bad feeling…..”

Right, the moment the Gardener released the ostriches, ALL of them run toward Balfour. Being chased and surrounded by many big ostriches of course not a pleasant thing, at the end, he become half-dead.

Obviously it’s Balfour’s win. Chesire Cat apologize to Hatter of his lost, because he is a cat, he obviously not popular amongst birds. Well, actually it’s a good thing to lost, compared with Balfour’s condition.

Rockwell : “Hey, popular guy~! What’s like being surrounded by many girls?”
Balfour: “Ra-rather than surrounded….. I-it’s more like I was trampled…down….” 
Rain: “Being popular amongst ostriches is a rare ability”
Kanaria: “Well, that’s because he is a torikago(1)”

*Note (1): Kanaria said that because he is a torikago, he is popular amongst birds, in contrast with a cat
