Each team now has one point win and one draw, so the fourth and last game going to be a decisive one. The participants also decided; Alice VS Kanaria. Alice is in his full spirit, as he swear to revenge Mad Hatter so the older guy can rest in peace. Hatter responding by giving a good punch.
Kanaria, in other hand, is show no enthusiasm at all. Rockwell warn him to not lose by purpose, but Balfour assure Rock that there is no way the great Kanaria with his high do-S pride will ever show his losing face in front of lowly human like them.
Gardener: “ *chuckle* well then, Kanaria and Alice, in this game you have to fight each other while protecting your precious girl….. “
In other word, a Killing Game.
Alice burst in protest, after the previous silly games suddenly he told them to kill each other? Innocently, the Gardener said that he only want them to enjoy themselves. In more serious manner, Chesire Cat asked if his true intention is for them to kill each other. The Gardener denied, as he stated that he only want them to be released from their unfortunate fate. Then suddenly, Kiri and Marianne appear.
Gardener: “To protect your precious things, you have to fight the fullest. But is the thing you protect really worth it?”
In angry tone, Alice said there is no way he would do the worthless game when suddenly his words interrupted by Kanaria’s sword. The other guy doesn’t have any hesitation in doing a killing game. A Torikago supposedly couldn’t kill a human, but Balfour worried since this is another world, will the restraint still be in effect?
In soft voice, Kanaria told Kiri to come near him. Kiri is worry to see the sword in his hand. But Kanaria gently told her not to worry, he has to defeat a bad guy otherwise he couldn’t be stay with Kiri. In monotone voice, Kiri replied that she also can’t stand being separated from “Kana-chan”. Seeing them, Rain is muttering Kiri’s name. Balfour tried to calm him down, since at least Kanaria is protecting Kiri. Though he feel bad for Alice’s team, they couldn’t lost this time.
Balfour then warned Alice that Kanaria is willing to kill Marianne. He give back Alice’s gun so he can fight Kanaria. Alice is a bit stunned but he has to prepare his determination.
In arrogant manner, Kanaria told Alice that he is strong, so he should fight back with killing intent, or…. the two of them will turn into mincemeat. Alice doesn’t want to fight, but if he didn’t fight, his sister will…. what should he do?
Meanwhile, Hatter is worrying Alice, since the guy almost never hit a target before. Chesire Cat, however, said that maybe Alice didn’t have any will to fight, since he understand other people’s pain the most.
White Rabbit: “Damn it!! How can I let someone like him protect Marianne?!! *draw sword* It better if I go-“
Gardener: “You can’t, White Rabbit”
In an instant, a thunder-like light struck the Rabbit and threw him away. In unusually cold voice, The Gardener do this to release them from their saddening chain of fate, so he shouldn’t interfered. Everyone from other worlds can enjoy their lives, so why the people here should be bind with such a little thing, to the point that they couldn’t feel happy?
Kanaria doesn’t care about Gardener’s word, and started the game. After told Kiri to not let go off him, he attack Alice.
Alice : “Damn! Sis- no, Marianne! Over here, let’s run!!”
Marianne: “Hey…. where are we going to…? Can’t…. I….. should chase the white rabbit…..”
Alice: “Now’s not the right time!! Run!!”
Marianne: “Is…. that so…? Sorry……by the way….. who are you?”
Unfortunately, Kanaria managed to chase them. He was going to attack once again but interrupted by Kiri, who worriedly asking why Kanaria bullying the other guy. Annoyed, Kanaria told Kiri that Alice is a bad guy, or…. maybe Kiri prefer Kanaria got bullied instead? Hurriedly Kiri shook her head. No, it’s just…. Kiri knew the girl behind Alice, for they have having a conversation before. Marianne told Kiri that she should chasing the White Rabbit, if she do so then everyone can be happy, as the story will be created, and her precious “that child” also can be born. Kiri told Kanaria that Marianne also has her important person, but unfortunately the annoyed Kanaria doesn’t care at all.
Meanwhile, the running Alice’s head is full of dismay. Should he fight? To protect his sister, should he kill the other guys’ important person? Seeing the depressed Alice, Marianne asked him, why he fight? If he wounded, it will be hurt, right? Startled, Alice stopped running. That’s right, he said. If get hurt, anyone must be in pain, they must be suffered right? Suddenly, Alice was pinned down by Kanaria.
Kanaria: “Take your gun and fight, you have something to protect, right?”
Alice: “I am not the only one who has something to protect!”
Confused by Alice’s new determination, Kanaria mock him, telling his opponent that it is obvious. Alice, however, is at raging mode. He stand up and tell Kanaria to shut up because he is busy thinking.
Kanaria: “Ha? Why do you need to think? If you really want to protect that girl, you should show me a determination to shoot down Kiri. There is no need for you to pitying Kiri.”
Alice: “OF COURSE IT NO GOOD!!”
Kanaria: “….ha?”
Alice": “Only because we live in different world, only because we have different thing to protect, that’s not a reason to ignore everything and protect only own important thing!! I…..can’t do that!!”
White Rabbit : “Alice….”
Rockwell: “He tried to protect Kiri…?”
Kanaria: “Huh, then you can keep that thought until die, and watch me break your precious thing!!”
Alice: “Stop it!!”
*clash!!*
Protecting Marianne, Alice receiving Kanaria’s sword. Shocked, Marianne yelling Alice’s name. The wounded guy is surprised that Marianne recognize him. The girl response, of course she knew him! After all, he his her….. her precious…. Looking at speechless Marianne, Alice smile sadly. That’s right, she should wait a bit longer, he’ll give her back her name so… they should go back to Wonderland, together.
Alice: “Hey, Kanaria. I still have something to do in Wonderland, and you…. you also have something to do in your own world, right?”
Kanaria: “You really think that you can come back? Well…. just die!!”
Rain: “Stop!”
Kiri: “Ah!”
Balfour: “If you continued, I’ll have to attack you, Kanaria”
Kanaria: “Balfour…..Huh, you don’t have to said that. There is no meaning in bullying Alice, it’s not fun anymore”
Kanaria: “Maybe….. it would be funnier to bully him, the bastard over there”
Kanaria is referring to Gardener. The boy is stunning, he keep saying that the really are unfortunate. However, the party thought oppositely, they never think themselves as unfortunate. With sorrowful voice, the Gardener tried to rebuttal, if this continued, they… will ended to be like him, overprotecting something that they couldn’t be able to laugh anymore, and life a sad, sorrowful, cruel life.
Since birth, the Gardener was always alone. In this miniature garden, he always observing many worlds. There are many people who enjoying their life, and be able to laugh everyday. But what he could do is only seeing them. Even so, he also got happy whenever he see a smile, that was his most important thing. One day, he noticed there were people who destroy smiles. He cut down them, one by one. But one day he noticed, by cutting them, he also destroy their smile. He broke his own important thing because he overprotected it. He couldn’t smile happily anymore, that’s why….. he really saddened looking at their world, they are going to go on same path as him!
Alice stated that the Gardener actually scared, with his own power. With shaking voice the boy agreed, that’s why, if they couldn’t do it, he’ll destroy their important thing….. so everyone can laugh happily!! His attack to the girls was repelled by Kanaria, continued by a drop kick from Rockwell. Furiously the Gardener tried to attack again, but stopped with the Hatter’s threatening gun.
Gardener: “Ugh…. Alice!! If you…. you can understand, right?! My feeling!! After all, you-“
Alice: “Everyone here has the same feeling. Return us to our world”
Gardener: “B-but…. if you go back to Wonderland…. you can’t possibly be happy!! Are you alright with that?!!”
Alice: “Yeah, even if it hard…..we’ll find our own happiness. I don’t know what the others think but, for me, being in Wonderland is my happiness”
Alice: “Still, I want to thank you for this one day. Today is maybe my best day, I really enjoyed it”
Gardener: “Alice…..”
Alice: “But before that, let me give you a nice punch!!”
Gardener: “……eh?”
*punch*
Gardener: “Gyaaah…..!!!”
