Armen Noir Drama CD "Crimson Sensei no Shinsatsushitsu"

 

This drama cd is a tokuten/special bonus included in limited edition for Armen Noir PS2 by Otomate. Despite the seriousness of main story, this drama full of humour, and we can see the Hunters and Criminals go along together forgetting that their are actually enemies .

"Crimson Sensei no Shinsatsushitsu” or in english “Dr. Crimson’s Examining Room” told us a story of Crimson’s job as the only doctor in 999 area. Today, he is busy with several patients (and most of them actually don’t have a real sickness), including Zecks, Elle, Knives and Rain.

At the beginning of the drama, we can hear Sword (CV: Katsuyuki Konishi) recited the title, then Crimson (CV: Nakamura Yuuichi) suddenly appear and got angry because he thought that he was the one who should do the introduction, not Sword. Crimson also said that he hated Sword and didn’t want to see his face. He kept talking about this until his voice fading out.

Then, the drama really started. This time with Crimson (acting cool), in his
examining room, introduced himself as the only doctor in 999 area. Today, his first patient is Zecs (CV: Fujiwara Keiji). He came because he had problem with his shoulder, lack of sleep, etc. Crimson easily told him that because of normal aging proccess, the answer made Zecs angry and said that he was not that old since he was still 31. Crimson only laughed and said that he should stop being angry or he’d become bald. It’s succesfully made Zecs shut up lol.

Crimson then told him to do more sports and for not get stress. Zecs told Crimson
that it maybe because he never chase a Criminal again and thinking to do a real criminal hunting instead of deskwork to move his body. Of course Crimson against it and suggest an easier sport for Zecs, like golf and onsen for relaxation. Zecs didn’t want to do golf, because he believed that’s a sport for middle aged men. But he agreed to go to onsen and told Crimson to go too since it’d be a part of Armen Noir Situation Drama CD. Crimson refused because he didn’t want to go to onsen with only men, but agreed quickly right after Zecs said Noir will come too. After Zecs left, Crimson laughed pervertly while thinking about an onsen trip with Noir.

His second patient is Knives (CV: Yoshino Hiroyuki) who came with a gloomy face. When Crimson asked him what happened, he told him that his CA, Yatagarasu, refused to go out when he summoned. Then Knives told Crimson to call out Yatagarasu. At first he is hesitating, but Knives still asked him to do so, and right, Yatagarasu came out. Knives quickly apologizing to Yatagarasu, but his CA already disappeared again before he can finished his words. Seeing the depressed Knives, Crimson asked him what happened. Yesterday, when Knives eating a cup ramen, he found there is no scissors or cutter near him. So, instead he used Yatagarasu to cut the soup warp. Since that, Yatagarasu never came out when he called him, but appear if other people call.

Crimson told him that Yatagarasu must be angry with Knives since he is a CA with high pride. Knives asked him what should he do, but because Crimson also didn’t know what to do, he only suggested Knives to keep apologize to Yatagarasu. Until Yatagarasu forgive Knives, he should be careful not to found by hunters and if he meet a hunter he must run with all his strength. But it’s truly an unlucky day for Knives. Right after he got out from the room, he met Elle (CV: Tasaka Hideki) who summoned his CA Andromarius upon seeing Knives. Knives, of course, can’t do anything. He kept calling Yatagarasu with no result, and ended run away as fast as he can.

The third patient: Elle, who came back after Knives managed to run away. Crimson only told him to not fight inside Farm before asked Elle about his problem. Elle said that he didn’t have any appetite. It’s true that Elle didn’t need any human food since he is an android, but he himself though that food is one of three basic of human needs. So, if he didn’t have any of them, he don’t have any reason of existence. Upon his thought, today Elle came to Crimson’s place to asked for a way to understand human’s feeling. Then, Crimson said he has a great way to make Elle understand human’s feeling; by let him read adult book. Crimson lend him his treasure magazines and photobook which he kept in examining room so Xian Tao won’t found them. Elle made a uneasy and hesitating face, but at the end decided to do Crimson’s suggestion. After Elle left, Crimson was thinking, what if Elle’s mind become strange? But then he laughed and told to himself that it’s not his responsibility.

Crimson next patient is Rain (CV: Yasumura Makoto). Crimson asked him if he got diarrhea or food poisoning. Of course Rain angrily told him not to said “diarrhea” in otome game drama cd. Today he came because a normal cold. Crimson examined him, and it’s truly only a normal cold. Unfortunately for Rain, Crimson thought it’d be boring if he give him normal medicine, so he decided to “play” a little with poor Rain XD. First, he attached umeboshi on Rain’s forehead and some Rain’s long hair attached with it. Then he bundled scallions on Rain’s neck, told him that it’s also a traditional medicine, and almost stroking him in the proccess. Still not satisfied, Crimson made tamagozake (sake with raw egg, also a japanese traditional medicine for cold). He mix a big bowl of sake with three eggs and force Rain to drink it with one gulp. At this point Rain already scared at this point, but Crimson only laughing and told him that he won’t cured if he didn’t hear the doctor’s words. Rain become really angry though, and punched Crimson with all his might before go out from the room with umeboshi and scallions still attached. Of course Xian Tao who stayed outside laugh at him XD.

After Rain left, Crimson murmuring that doctor is truly a hard job, since he must deal with violent patient who punched his doctor (and he really didn’t think it’s his fault......). Now, it’s time for his last patient today.....or maybe not his patient. Upon seeing Sword came in, Crimson quickly told him to go out. But at the end he allowing Sword to come in though. Seeing Crimson reaction, Sword though it must be what people called “Tsundere”. Of course Crimson became angry and told him that he is truly hate Sword, especially his insensitive part.

Then, Sword told Crimson about his problem. It’s about Noir, recently she rarely came home. Crimson commenting that it must be because she has person like Sword as her guardian. Sword ignoring him and continue his story, at the past he remembered Noir always waited him at his room, she always look happy whenever Sword came back and patted her head. But recently Noir started to rarely came home because she befriended with some bad people. At first Crimson told him directly to just dead. Then he told Sword that someday a daughter (Noir) will parted away with her parents (Sword). Crimson also happily told him that didn’t came home is one proof of being independence, and that she won’t need parents anymore. For Noir, the “bad people” is her important friend, and Sword has no right to commenting it. Instead, what he can do is waiting for a day when Noir came and said “Father, this person is my important person” to Sword LOL. Sword agreeing with Crimson, if Noir already decided her path, what he could do is only watch over her. Crimson really happy to see Sword gave up.... only for a moment. Actually today Sword came to Farm because he heard Noir was here. Then, he really saw her, drying clothes. Sword then told him that as Noir guardian, one of his responsibility is to make sure Noir didn’t got into wrong paths, so he summoned his CA Arondyte, knocked down Crimson, and took Noir home.

Personal Comment:
A very funny story, I suggest to heard it after playing the game, since you won’t understand the story. This drama CD also a good refreshing after playing the depressing game (I still cry for Elle....). Poor Rain, don’t worry, Sword already knock down Crimson in your place XD. I personally love all of Armen Noir drama Cd simply because they make me forget the tragedy in the game . BTW, in April Otomate will released Armen Noir Portable. I don’t know if they’ll added new story/ending but the OP movie exactly same with PS2 version (except there is small “Portable” word below the logo, and 2012 instead of 2010).
