Adapted from QuinRose's popular girl game Alice series, Circus to Usotsuki no Game was based of the series' third game titled "Joker no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Wonder World~". Localized by Seven Seas as Alice in the Country of Joker: Circus and Liar's Game
. Time has passed since Alice decided to stay in the Country of Heart, and the mysterious country was even moved, leaving her (and most of her friend) ended in the Country of Clover that was ruled by Nightmare. It seems that April Season has come. April Season means it's time for Circus, which led by Joker the Clown, to perform, bringing seasons with them.
The story started with Alice, who is working as a maid in Castle of Heart, found a diary that she wrote. There we got a flashback at how Alice was brought by Peter White (White Rabbit) to the Country of Heart. She met with the residences of the country and befriended them. The flashback ended with Vivaldi, the Queen of Heart, calling her to a tea party, while a mysterious clown was seen observing her from faraway. The first chapter ended with Nightmare the Incubus whispered "....he started moving".

The artwork is very good, considering that Mamenosuke Fujimaru is now in charge for the game's art, means that the manga and game's art is in the same quality ('cause sometimes we saw manga which art really different than the game). Story itself is good, they spent first chapter for flashback purpose, giving a good background introduction for people who never heard about the series, just the story flow is pretty slow for me, so only 7 points. Characters, should I say more? QuinRose's characters is superb, they are my favorite otome game company thank's to their out-of-ordinary character. The tea-maniac-and-mafia-boss as Mad Hatter? check. A march hare who denied that he is a hare? check, A Knight who can even lost inside his own castle? check. All QuinRose's characters are hilarious in their own way, they are my favorites
